Nasaleze PM Shield contains a cellulose powder, which when inhaled into the nose forms a mucous-like gel that stops particulate matter from reaching the sensitive lining of the nose. It creates a physical barrier, providing an extra layer of protection against airborne pollution that is inhaled into the nasal cavity. Numerous researchers have found links between particle matter and nasal inflammation, allergies and asthma. An unprotected nose in a heavily polluted environment can be damaged and open the door to a whole host of upper respiratory issues.
The powder spray creates a protective barrier in the nose that shields and protects against the potentially damaging effects of air pollution. Starting to work in less than two minutes, Nasaleze PM works with the body’s own nasal defence mechanism.
The core ingredient is Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), which is at a grade of powder that helps create the optimum barrier effect. It also contains lemon powder which creates a refreshing citrus flavour.
It is suitable for anyone who wants added protection from airborne pollutants and particle matter, particularly those living or working in areas of high pollution. It can be used by pregnant and breast-feeding women, as well as children over 18 months old. Read product reviews here.
Nasaleze should be taken as a preventative measure before entering an environment where pollution is likely to be present.
The efficacy of Nasaleze products has been demonstrated in numerous published or presented clinical trials. Read more here.
The usual dose is one puff of powder up each nostril three times a day. Each bottle contains 200 sprays, which equates to a 30 day supply. For maximum efficacy, it is necessary to maintain a constant layer of gel across the lining of the nose. It is therefore recommended that you re-administer the product after blowing your nose to renew the barrier. Click here for more guidance.
