Question: What is Nasaleze Travel?
Nasaleze Travel is a natural nasal powder spray containing a blend of cellulose, peppermint and odour controlled wild garlic that delivers fast, continuous protection from airborne germs that are inhaled via the nose.

Question: Why do we need to protect our nose?
Humans inhale up to an estimated 17,000 pints of air a day, all of that air must be filtered before it enters the lungs. However, in today’s polluted environment sometimes our nasal tract simply can not cope and our system becomes overloaded. Nasaleze Travel supplements the bodies natural filtration system and can help to protect you from airborne germs.

Question: How does Nasaleze Travel work?
Nasaleze Travel is a powder nasal spray containing three key ingredients: Cellulose powder forms a fine gel like substance inside the nose which traps and absorbs airborne germs; wild garlic remains in the cellulose gel and neutralises any airborne germs through its anti-viral properties. Mint provides extra anti-viral activity and also gives a pleasant minty aroma, masking the taste of the odour-controlled garlic. Nasaleze Travel delivers fast, effective and continuous protection against airborne pathogens, especially the common cold and flu virus, as soon as it is applied.

Question: Why powder?
When Nasaleze Travel is instilled into the nasal tract the cellulose powder forms a fine gel like substance which coats the inside of the nose and remains there for a number of hours. Trapped in the cellulose are two of nature’s most powerful anti-viral herbs, wild garlic and peppermint. The nasal tract tends to clear liquid sprays out, but as the Nasaleze Travel powder turns to a gel it remains in the nose for longer, providing fast and effective protection from airborne germs and pollutants.

Question: Who should take Nasaleze Travel?
Anybody wishing to protect themselves from infection should take Nasaleze Travel but those in professions who are frequently exposed to high risk germ environments, such as doctors, nurses; pilots, flight attendents, air plane passengers; commuting by train or bus; teachers would also particularly benefit.

Question: What research is there behind the product?
Fifty two volunteers were recruited to take part in a dual centred, randomized, blinded study to determine whether the level of airborne infections could be significantly reduced in patients receiving either plain Nasaleze cellulose extract or a combination of Nasaleze cellulose with wild garlic.

Volunteers were randomized to receive a plain cellulose extract delivered intra nasally or the same cellulose formulation with added wild garlic. One puff into each nostril was recommended and if the volunteer caught an infection whilst travelling then at least three puffs per nostril were recommended until the symptoms reduced. The study took place over an eight week period across Finland and United Kingdom between November and March 2006/07. Volunteers were instructed to use a five-point scale to assess their health and record any infectious episodes and symptoms in a daily diary.

The active-treatment group (Nasaleze with wild garlic) had significantly fewer infections than the control group (20 vs 57, p<.001). The active treatment group also experienced far fewer days where an infection was obviously present (126 days in the active group vs 240 days in the control group p<0.05). Consequently, volunteers in the active group were less likely to pick up an airborne infection with the addition of wild garlic to this novel cellulose extract. Volunteers in the control group were much more likely to get more than one cold over the treatment period or to suffer much longer periods of infection.

This unique Nasaleze Travel formulation can significantly reduce the number of airborne infections that volunteers are exposed to during the winter season. Since the study we decided to add a peppermint extract to the formula to give the product a pleasant minty aroma and also extra anti-viral activity.

Question: When should I take Nasaleze Travel?
Nasaleze Travel can be taken at least twice daily to help you remain infection free all year. However, many users will keep the handy sized bottle about their person and apply just before entering a busy shopping centre, packed commuter train or a long haul flight.

Question: Are there any side effects?
Nasaleze Travel is all natural and most people will experience no side effects. People who are generally susceptible to nose bleeds or are allergic to garlic are advised not to take this product.
